The Great Song: I Am the Imperial Court’s Hound

“I, Lu Pofu, bring three thousand death-sworn men of the Xu Jian Bureau and demand that the imperial family abdicate!”

In the Great Song Dynasty, during the era of Water Margin, bandits run rampant and corrupt officials monopolize power. Of all the imperial court's law-enforcement organizations, the Xu Jian Bureau is the most brutal and overbearing.

Its chief, Lu Qian, is known as the God of Slaughter of the Western Frontier. Ruthless and domineering, he is a man everyone wants dead.

Righteous heroes of the martial world and ambitious officials of the court rise up one after another to oppose him.

In the end, they all suffer the same fate: families torn apart, homes destroyed, and loved ones lost.

One tragic lament after another unfolds across the land!

Ten years later, riding the momentum of the Liao's destruction, the invincible Jurchen cavalry, numbering tens of thousands, marches south.

Standing atop the walls of Bianjing with nothing but a sword, Lu Qian follows in the footsteps of Gai Nie, the legendary swordsman of the pre-Qin era. Alone, he slays three hundred of the Jurchens' finest cavalrymen and forges an unrivaled reputation!

No myriad worlds, no fantasy, no modern firearms. This is not a work of historical research. The protagonist's combat prowess is modeled on Gai Nie!
