Li Ge accidentally becomes a spirit general in the Netherworld and, without meaning to, ends up as a stepping stone for the Heavenly Demons.
The Heavenly Demons are plotting to destroy the barrier that protects the Three Realms. The key point, and its weakness, is Earth. Their scheme is unfolding around Earth. To stop their conspiracy, Li Ge must also discover who the so-called God Taiyi really is, and why he opened the Desolate Realm and brought calamity to its inhabitants.
