Reborn: The Return of the Rain Master

As Ye Xun teeters on the brink of death, he dreams that he transforms into Chisongzi, the ancient Rain Master, bringing clouds and rain to the people of the world.

During a tribulation, he attempts to defy fate and change his destiny, only to be discovered by the Venerable Lingxu, who strikes Chisongzi down. His soul is imprisoned within the supreme treasure, the Ding of Fixed Heaven, and takes countless years to escape.

To evade the gaze of that powerful being, the escaped Chisongzi possesses a young man in the Great Qin Empire and takes the name Xu Fu. He establishes the Imperial Observatory and searches for immortality and elixirs on behalf of the Qin Emperor. After his cultivation reaches its peak, he ascends to the immortal realm once more, only to be ambushed by a trap left behind by the Venerable Lingxu and die again. Unwilling to accept this fate, Xu Fu leaves behind a wisp of his soul to recuperate.

When he finally awakens, he happens upon Ye Xun, a young man from Earth who is close to death. He possesses Ye Xun's body, takes the first steps onto the path of immortal cultivation, and begins his quest for revenge.
