Looking up from the foot of the deep, shadowy Ziwei Peak, Lao Jun Cliff loomed like a ghostly mass towering into the clouds.
With his ten-year-old son tucked under one arm, Lan Lingfeng bounded past Lao Jun Cliff a few times, then circled around to the northwest ridge of Ziwei Peak behind it. He leaped along the ridge like a ghost and flew up to the top of Lao Jun Cliff.
A group of black-clad, masked masters had already been waiting there for a long time, swords in hand. When they saw that Lan Lingfeng had indeed arrived, one of the ten, a heavily built giant, stepped forward to meet him.
The other nine then arranged themselves in a triangular formation, each dragging a sword and leaning at an angle, left foot forward and right foot braced against the ground, their bodies tilted slightly toward Lan Lingfeng. Together, they formed three iron triangles.
Holding his son under one arm, Lan Lingfeng came to a stop and gave a cold laugh. He shouted at the giant approaching him:
"Who are you?!
Why did you abduct my two daughters?
They're still young. If you have a problem, come straight to me!"
