The Eight-Year-Old Daoist Master of the Tang Dynasty

Early in the second year of the Zhenguan era, an eight-year-old child rode a blue ox to Chang'an, and purple clouds stretched thirty thousand li from the east!

Li Shimin held his nose and honored him as the reincarnation of the sage ancestor Li Er. From then on, the boy took charge of the Daoist faith and was hailed as the Supreme Lord of the Golden Palace, the Mysterious Origin of the Great Dao!

"Great Ancestor, Mother is ill again. Father sent me to ask you for an elixir." Princess Changle knelt outside the Chaotian Palace, sobbing softly.

"Big Brother Ancestor, I'm here to play with you again! Hurry and summon a crane to take me flying." Little Xizi, Princess Jinyang, tugged at Li Er's arm and pleaded in a sweet, soft voice.

"Ancestor, I've mastered the poses you taught me the other day. Hurry and teach me some new ones!" Princess Gaoyang smiled, her face flushed and her eyes misty.

Halt, demon! Do not disturb my cultivation! I am a man firmly devoted to pursuing the Heavenly Dao!
