In the long serialized narrative of "Exploring the Path of Life", I used the first-person narrative method, using more than 280,000 words and more than 80 chapters to describe in detail the transformation process and personal experience of the male protagonist, as an educated youth, from the vast world of the countryside to the provincial capital of the metropolis, in a large-owned enterprise, through thirty-five years of practical training. The practical experience of these processes, more or less, may bring some reference and help to the younger generation, so that they can avoid some of the detours we have taken.
At the end of January 1971, I was transferred back to Chengdu from the glorious first team of Luoba Commune, Hongya County, Sichuan Province, and worked in the Fifth Metallurgical Construction Company of the Ministry of Metallurgy, a large enterprise owned by the whole people.
