The God of War's Tale

Human technology advanced at an incredible pace, surpassing even the power of the gods. People stopped worshipping the gods and proclaimed themselves gods instead! On September 9, 2040, with the power of a rare planetary alignment, the gods brought back into the world another spirit-filled realm that once belonged to Earth: the Sealed Spirit Realm. The gods sought to destroy humanity and create a new race of humans who would be obedient, believe in the gods, and pose no threat to them.

Thus began the war between humanity and the gods!
