After the cataclysms on Earth, brought about by falling stars and attacks from alien creatures, everything changed. Humanity gained powerful abilities beyond intelligence: superpowers. Not long after launching a counterattack against the alien lifeforms, humanity realized a grave problem: continuing the fight would reduce the population until the human race went extinct. So humanity decided to enter a five-hundred-year period of recovery. This gave rise to humanity's last refuge, a massive city called Dawn.
