One Piece: Nine Hundred Thousand Years of Immortality

The Elephant who carries Zou on his back was a pet he had raised since it was young;

Pluton, an Ancient Weapon, was his ship for sailing the seas;

Even Ohara's Tree of Knowledge was planted by his own hand...

From the primitive age, when people lived off the land, to an age of flourishing kingdoms, he lived through nearly a hundred thousand years of changing seasons, immortal and ageless. At last, on a drizzly morning, weary of eternal life and its endless years, he went alone to an unnamed island locked in everlasting ice. There, he built his own tomb, sealed away his five senses, and fell into a sleep from which he would not wake.

Many years later, a band of obscure pirates stumbled upon his tomb and dug it open.

"This world... has changed quite a bit."
