Journey to the West: The Defiant Tang Monk

Hey, Master Wu Cheng'en, what did Xuanzang ever do to you? I went to fetch the scriptures through my own ability, and you wrote me as a coward? Whatever, I won't hold it against you. Now that I've succeeded in cultivating immortality, I'll write my own story and set the historical record straight!

I, Tang Sheng, will not only slay demons and vanquish evil, but also stand up for the wronged. I'll turn the Buddhist Realm and the Heavenly Court upside down, and demand justice from Buddha and the Jade Emperor on behalf of the people!

"Sister Guanyin, what do you want me to do? Fetch your essence? Boo-hoo, you're so naughty, Sister. I'm not even an adult yet!"

"You darn monkey, listen up. Jump over that waterfall and go into the Water Curtain Cave, and you'll become the Monkey King. Five hundred years later, you'll have to take me as your master and heed my teachings. Don't go around asking people to have a little monkey for you."

"Pig Wuneng, let Chang'e go! I'll take care of her!"

"Sha Wujing, all you did was break a glass lamp. The Jade Emperor is abusing his authority for personal revenge, banishing you over such a petty matter..."
