Is This Really a Superpower?

In 2150, the earth's energy was close to exhaustion, the plan to colonize the planet failed, and people began to frantically search for new energy sources. Finally, they found it. When the earth's core was dug in the UK, it released huge amounts of radiation, but most people had no reaction to the radiation. Only a handful of people were affected and gained the power of nature. After that, more than a dozen countries with the ability to mine earth's core followed suit. As the number of people exposed to radiation increased, countries began to officially include "them" in the law to provide sufficient resources. People who are irradiated are called "natural tuners" or "tuners" for short. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
