I'll Wait for You in My Dreams

He wakes from a dream to find that everything has changed. Carrying the lingering tenderness of that dream, can you and I rekindle our love across the chasm of worldly divides? The purest young man, the most romantic encounter: between reality and dreams, do you still remember the past? Waiting for You in a Dream draws inspiration from the story of the Dream of Nanke, one of Tang Xianzu's Four Dreams of Linchuan. It blends classical mythology with modern youthful first love. In a playful, comedic style, the author tells the tragic love story of Mengdie and Zhuang Zhou, whose romance spans three lifetimes.

The author's writing is spicy, sour, and satisfyingly sharp, with plenty of wisdom about life. This is a love story that will make you laugh until your stomach hurts, then leave you in tears.
