The Great Sage Reborn: Ruling the Journey to the West

The Jade Emperor tried to steal Chang'e from me, Old Sun. When he failed, he framed me instead, so I had no choice but to wreak havoc in Heaven to prove my innocence!

Marshal Tianpeng was banished to the mortal realm simply because he caught the Jade Emperor flirting with Chang'e. Afraid the Queen Mother would find out and expose him, the Jade Emperor made Tianpeng the scapegoat!

Wukong: "Buddha, you broke your word." Buddha: "I was just playing along with you!"

Wukong: "Bodhisattva, you really set me up. This golden headband is uncomfortable."

Tang Monk: "Bodhisattva, I know a blacksmith in Chen Village who's very skilled. I'll introduce you to him next time..."

Bodhisattva: "Amitabha. Get lost~"

With the Moonlight Treasure Box, he can travel wherever he wants. He takes Lu Ya as his disciple and wins the favor of Nüwa...

Who says immortals can't be together? I, Old Sun, am determined to be with Yaoji. Why should the Queen Mother and the Jade Emperor be allowed to be together, while ordinary people aren't allowed to light a lamp when the officials set fires? If the Celestial Court remains unjust, not only will I, Old Sun, wreak havoc in Heaven, but my son will turn it upside down too!
