A little anime-loving goddess contacted 999 otaku, then gave them lots of powerful abilities for free, without limit. She sent them into anime worlds to kill the other gods who had impersonated her and sent otaku into those worlds!
The little goddess also told the 999 otaku to kill more people, so she could reclaim more of the anime faith points that originally belonged to her. But those 999 otaku were so spectacularly brainless that, after getting all sorts of powerful abilities from the little saint, they went around courting death and making a mess of things in the anime worlds. In the end, they all died. Total party wipe!
With no other choice, the little goddess contacted another otaku. But this otaku was out of luck, because the little goddess wouldn't give him powerful abilities for free and without limit. Her purpose was to stop him from repeating the same mistakes and keep him from being like those 999 brainless fools who got the abilities she gave them...
