A shut-in is randomly chosen to succeed the new God, only to discover that most of God's powers are missing. He has to go out and retrieve them himself. What is he supposed to do? The outside world is so scary. Unfortunately, becoming the new God also makes this shut-in a tempting target, like a piece of Tang Monk's meat. To save his own skin, the hapless shut-in resolutely sets out on an anime-world journey to find the lost divine powers and woo an endless parade of girls.
