In the TV series, when Rick wakes up, he's still hooked up to his IV drip, and in the small town, Morgan's wife turns into a zombie and can turn doorknobs. These are all for the development of the fulcrum of the walking dead universe. Rick has several nurses and four patients in the hospital, and Morgan's wife is preparing for the subsequent evolution of the walking dead to produce consciousness.
Just watch it and it's finished. I felt it at first but then it disappeared**. Just like Journey to the West, the monkey became a fighting and victorious Buddha as soon as he was pressed to the Five Elements Mountain. Nmp

In the TV series, Rick lay in the hospital for more than a month, which was to develop the cosmic zombies. It was explained in the extra chapter that besides Rick, there were three other patients in the hospital, and there was also a female doctor taking care of them. It was the first zombie that Rick saw when he woke up and opened the door.
