My Black Cat Isn't That Cute

"Hey, Black Cat."

No... Ruri.

"Will you marry me?"

Standing on the stage in the chapel, I was a little nervous, even though there were only a few people there.

I imagine Black Cat felt the same way. I could tell from her slightly trembling body.

"I... I will!"

Looking at Black Cat as she stammered, I couldn't help smiling.

At the same time, the idiots below us were whooping and hollering: "She's finally getting married!" "Congratulations!" "You finally got married, you bastard Hitomi!" "That took long enough!" "I'm going to kill you!"

That last voice was probably best ignored.

I wiped the seemingly nonexistent cold sweat from my forehead with the back of my hand.

After calming myself down, I turned my gaze back to Black Cat. It seemed she'd heard them too. There was a helpless look in her eyes as she looked at me.

But no matter what...
