Dream of Silken Tresses

The sky is still blue, but the people beneath it have long since vanished to who knows where. Who says love has to be passionate and dramatic? Some love lives in the heart, working wonders even from afar. Many would say that isn’t brave enough, but how could we say anything under those circumstances? Who could spare a thought for romance when there wasn’t even time to mend a friendship? Who among us could keep holding on like that, keeping a promise we dared not reveal: to stay together for life? The truth is, none of us was brave enough, and we lost our chance at happiness forever.
