There were two forces before the Dark Moon Empire, one was dominated by the Gods, and the other was dominated by the Demons. The two forces, one good and one evil, have been at war all year round. Originally, the gods and demons defeated the demons and ruled the world. Later, for unknown reasons, the demons' power increased greatly, defeated the gods, and became the new leader of the world.
