Aiyoku No Eustia

Long, long ago, "humanity" was created by angels sent by God.

As the only creatures who knew the language of prayer, "humanity" achieved great progress with the angels' help.

But as people lived in such a prosperous world, they gradually forgot how to pray.

The first tragedy occurred 500 years ago.

Humanity's growing arrogance angered God, who then sent the angels away from the mortal world.

The earth, stripped of order, plunged into chaos in an instant.

Countless cities collapsed one after another. Yet there was one person in the world who had not forgotten how to pray:

The last remaining saint who could pray to God begged Him for forgiveness.

God accepted the saint's prayer

and lifted the last surviving city into the sky, saving humanity from the brink of destruction.

That city is what people today call

The last human city, adrift in the sky...
