Reluctance

I have to say this at the outset: people are hard to read. This is no exaggeration!

You can never know how many ill-intentioned people there are in this world. Such people harbor an "evil heart," plotting to harm someone. No matter how clever you are, you can never know at all times when someone has reached out a criminal hand behind your back. No, everyone has an evil heart. Only a few are controlled by it and go on to commit crimes.

Let me stress this again: this is no exaggeration!

Are you sure you can control your own evil heart?

In an age like this, what will happen to a young rookie police officer's work and personal life when he meets two beautiful women: an energetic female superior and a frail, sickly girl with a talent for deduction? When he encounters the darkness that exists in this world, can he escape it?

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to actual people or events is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
