We Promised to Stay Together

The years of youth are filled with the sorrow of parting. They are both an ending and a beginning. Xu Anya, Zheng Yi, Cheng Mobei, Xu Anrui, and Xia Nan leave their own worlds and step into one another's youth. During one long summer at seventeen, the five stumble their way toward growing up. Some leave, some are hurt, but they remain steadfast. Who envied whom? Who hurt whom? Who spent those long years by whose side? The youth that slips through our fingers eventually becomes the past. Friendship is jealousy, family is nagging, and love is pain. Let the misunderstandings of the past fade away together, and let the old barriers be crossed together. If time never passed, how could we remember? Do you still remember what we said: We would be together forever.
