Counting Naruto Six Paths, this should be my second time writing a Hokage story...
No crossover with other anime, and it has nothing to do with the Senju, Uchiha, Uzumaki, or their ilk. Of course, the protagonist isn't a Jinchūriki either...
The protagonist was born about twenty years before the original story begins, before the Third Shinobi World War broke out. He's from the same generation as Kakashi.
As for his birthplace, it's that place in the Land of Water where there is little entertainment besides chopping people up...
One more thing: although the protagonist comes from a bloodline family, he doesn't care much about family ties and isn't particularly eager to restore his clan. Basically, he's the type who figures that as long as he's doing well, the rest can go to hell.
