The Colors of Youth Take Flight

Cheng Ning went from being a top student to studying art. Under pressure from her family, and carrying her mother's dream of attending university, she thought of a shortcut through the college entrance exams: one that would take a bit of effort while still allowing her to help support her family. She had no art background, but was lucky enough to meet Bo Mu, an art teacher who refused to follow the usual path, as well as a group of friends who saw art as their ideal...

Bo Mu had once been a rebellious teenager and understood the conflict between ideals and reality. He liked people who held on to their ideals, but he also watched Cheng Ning gradually become a second version of himself. And Lei Nuo, the boy who secretly loved Cheng Ning, was also full of echoes of Bo Mu's own youth...

The colors of youth can fly, across the drawing paper of our green years and through hearts filled with ideals... until time passes, and one day, grown-up and worldly-wise, we sigh, "Don't talk to me about ideals. I've given them up."
