Honestly, from the very beginning, I kept wanting to bring her and Jiang Chen together. But as I kept writing, I realized that their relationship was gradually getting worse, and it felt like things were getting a little out of control.
Everyone has a sharp eye. Lots of people have said so in the book reviews, and some have even asked me to remove this character. I've realized, too, that Su Yu is no longer a good match for Jiang Chen.
But a character who's been part of the story throughout the entire early portion can't just be removed at the drop of a hat. I'll try to gradually improve their relationship so everyone can come to accept her. If I can't pull that off, then I'll simply make her disappear from Jiang Chen's heart. But in that case, there'll be one fewer female lead.
Having one fewer doesn't mean the protagonist is a womanizer.
I originally planned for three female leads. If Su Yu disappears, there'll be only two left. As for which two, please let me keep you in suspense for now. Everyone...
