A Modern Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio

Everyone knows Liaozhai, a collection of stories about ghosts and gods that uses the supernatural to explore humanity. Its setting is usually ancient times. Why? Because back then, people could believe in ghosts and gods. But as modern science has advanced, people have become less and less familiar with the supernatural, while atheism has become more widespread. Still, don't forget that many things happening around us are hard to explain scientifically. And the so-called absence of gods has also become an excuse for many people to do evil.

My Liaozhai is set in the modern era. Of course, I'm not promoting theism. If you don't think I've written it well, just read it for fun. The real demon is in everyone's heart: where there is a demon in the heart, all evil spirits thrive; where there is no demon in the heart, nothing can disturb you. The true devil comes from within people. Of course, I'm only a beginner and not much of a writer, so please share your feedback. Thank you!
