Please Give Our Family a Warm Home

Yesterday, I asked my friend Ban Jun to take me to a bookstore to borrow some books, but she said she was busy and wouldn’t have time until tomorrow. I thought, all right, I’ll wait until tomorrow. At exactly nine in the morning, I went with Ban Jun to a bookstore to borrow some books. I didn’t know where the bookstore was or what it looked like. To my surprise, when we arrived and I took one look, it turned out to be a recycling shop. At first, I thought there probably wouldn’t be any good books to borrow there. Then we walked closer and saw the family running the recycling shop. It was truly heartbreaking!

I wondered how their lives had come to this. Wasn’t it already 2010? Why was there still something so sad and painful to see?
