King of the Battlefield

August 18, the jungles of Mexico.

The Thornbird had been lying in wait here for three days. A soldier like him might be called a mercenary, if you wanted to put it nicely, but really, he was just a man who made his living by killing.

The Thornbird was a sniper. He had arrived in Mexico two weeks earlier, with a simple mission: locate the missile base that Country A's Ministry of Defense had deployed in Mexico, then blow it to scrap.

His employer had given him scattered clues, so the Thornbird could only search through the primeval jungle. Three days ago, he found this place and settled in to wait. His instincts told him: This is it!
