Douluo Dalu: I Took on Disciples and Became a God with Wuxia Manuals

The protagonist is a level 89 Soul Douluo who joins neither Spirit Hall nor any other faction. He takes a different path through "martial arts," specifically recruiting disciples whom the Martial Soul system deems to have a "fixed ceiling" or a "defect." Wang Sheng has low Innate Soul Power, and his Battle Tiger Martial Soul is considered a Trash Martial Soul, but he has the grit and leadership of a work-study student, making him suited to an internal art like the Nine Yang Divine Art, which rewards steady accumulation. Ning Rongrong's seven-ring bottleneck is the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect's fatal weakness. The protagonist uses internal energy to "nourish" her Martial Soul, perhaps temporarily bypassing the Soul Ring restrictions and giving the tower another layer of phantom imagery. This fits the logic of a "martial arts system" better than simply giving her an immortal herb. Zhu Zhuqing's speed is already close to its limit, but the Hell Spirit Cat lacks an "explosive foundation." The Lightness Skill of the Waves paired with "bone-shrinking and tendon-changing" could give her the ability to kill instantly at close range, in addition to speed. Shui Bing'er's Ice Phoenix is beyond her control because the extremely cold energy has no "furnace" to contain it. The pure yang internal energy of the Nine Yang Divine Art can serve as a "yang extreme" to balance the cold, bringing yin and yang into harmony. The protagonist's goal isn't to oppose Tang San or the main cast, but to follow a path of "ordinary mortal martial arts."
