A Demonic Heart

A baby had barely entered the world and was still swaddled when someone brutally cut out his heart, took his right eye, and removed two precious bones.

Eighteen years later, a graceful young gentleman emerged from an ancient temple deep in the mountains.

People took him for nothing more than a down-on-his-luck rogue cultivator. They had no idea that the heart beating inside him was the heart of a demon ancestor, sealed away for endless ages, or that the body reborn in his chest was the Primordial Saint Body, capable of devouring all things.

He once slaughtered an entire city in a single night, and once struck down an ancient prodigy with a single sword.

Some called him a demon, others a Buddha. In one hand he wielded a bloody blade to kill and cultivate; in the other, he formed a Buddhist seal to save... no, to send all living beings on their way.

Those who stand in my way may leave their last words.

When the massacre of the leading family in the Eastern Azure Domain is brought to light again, and the culprits who carved out his heart and stole his bones are revealed, Lu Zhibai turns his sword toward the depths of the Nine Domains:

Today, I will repay the pain I suffered back then, a thousandfold, ten thousandfold!

A heaven-defying path begins, one of proving the Dao through a demonic heart and answering killing with killing.
