The Wandering Yan Qing, Blown in on the Wind

A thousand years ago, Liangshan hero Yan Qing, known as the Prodigal Son, saw the world for what it was. Fang La was defeated and the court offered the rebels amnesty. His sworn brothers were dead or wounded. Having lost faith in worldly affairs, Yan Qing traveled far from home. Passing by Mount Zhongnan, he came upon the True Man in the Clouds, who was chanting sutras. Hearing someone approach, the True Man sent a boy to open the door. Yan Qing knelt before him. "I am Yan Qing. I was passing through this immortal mountain and have lost my way. There is nowhere for me to go. Master, please take pity on me and give me shelter."
