After Joining Bright Sword, I Reequip the Independent Regiment with American Weapons

After the Battle of Cangyun Ridge, the Independent Regiment was short on guns and medicine. The soldiers chewed on black beans and wore only thin clothes. When the Japanese launched a night raid, they had to fight with bayonets.

Zhou Ye transmigrates into the role of a logistics soldier who can repair guns and get supplies. Semiautomatics make night raids deadly, American weapons can strengthen the main force, and sulfa drugs, canned food, and padded coats are all lifesaving essentials. The budget is limited, so every bullet has to be carefully accounted for and every item used sparingly. The more they save, the better supplied they become.

Li Yunlong comes by every day to loot Zhou Ye's stores. Zhou Ye grits his teeth and sets to work, not only trading for guns but winning people's hearts too. He turns the battered Independent Regiment into the toughest force in all of western Shanxi.
