Business Fool

Other people start businesses to make money. Dachun starts one to lose money.

Dachun has more money than he can spend, but he has a strange rule: whenever someone calls his company stupid, a sum of money appears in his account out of nowhere, and he inexplicably gets all kinds of help. The more people insult him, the richer he gets.

So he does every kind of business everyone else is afraid to touch:

He sells cars, puts the wholesale price on the sign, refuses to haggle or offer loans, and throws in three years of free insurance.

He goes into cultural merchandise, pays a fortune for licensed designs and the finest porcelain clay and glaze, then sells the products at blind-box prices. If one breaks, he replaces it for free.

He handles funerals, marks burial clothes and urns at cost, sells cemetery plots for less than the price of an apartment, and clearly lists twenty years of management fees.

He opens a restaurant, serving four dishes for ten yuan, with quality rice and oil, and livestreams the kitchen from start to finish.

His competitors call him crazy, and consumers think he's an idiot.

Yet every one of his shops becomes a bigger hit than the last.

His employees look miserable. "Boss, we're in the red again this month."

Dachun waves a hand. "So what if we're losing money? I want to."

Someone asks what he's after.

Dachun says, "I just want to see how many monsters this industry's murky waters will flush out when I stir them up."
