The Bossy CEO Falls for Me, a Food Delivery Driver

Shen Mingyu never rushes her food deliveries. She only leaves notes. Twenty-seven notes, each one about her stomach: extra spicy because her stomach gets cold; less oil because she's taking stomach medicine; no cilantro, a habit left by her mother. Until one order comes with a note: "The soup spilled. Make it up to me with a bowl of hot porridge." The delivery man's name is Xu Chuan. He delivers food by day and tends a small old noodle shop deep in an alley by night, a shop he can barely keep open. He remembers every regular's dietary restrictions, but forgets his own stomach condition. She starts ordering his porridge every day, and he starts taking the long way around to deliver her orders. After three months of trading porridge, she finally asks, "I'm buying this whole street. Will you move your shop?"

"No."

Only later does she learn that the shop conceals an old score between their families: a scheme her father once devised, and an apology his grandfather never lived to hear. The whole city wonders why the female CEO orders takeout from the same place every day. Only Xu Chuan knows the truth: she's not hungry. She wants to come home.
