The Great Sage Arrives in the Modern World, and I Protect Every Home

After sitting in meditation on Mount Ling for a thousand years, the Victorious Fighting Buddha grew tired of the hollow chanting and rituals at the Great Thunderclap Temple. By a twist of fate, he transmigrated to a modern city in 2026.

There are no demons or monsters here, no heavenly soldiers or Buddhas, yet human suffering is everywhere: children falling from buildings, raging wildfires, and passersby in peril.

The Buddhas of Mount Ling sit high upon their lotus thrones, looking on coldly as the mortal world suffers.

If Buddha will not save the people, then I, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, will!

His fiery golden eyes see the dangers of the world, and his seventy-two transformations let him roam the city streets.

He rescues people, then leaves without a trace.

But every time he acts, he leaves behind a miracle no one can explain.

After one rescue after another, the whole internet is frantically searching for this mysterious savior.
