Pokémon Abyss

The Alliance is not absolutely righteous, but a huge bureaucratic machine controlled by plutocrats such as Silver Corporation and the old aristocracy. If civilians want to obtain initial elves, they can only buy low-quality individuals on the black market, or risk their lives to capture them in the wild. The free treatment in the Elf Center and the cost price in the store are only open to direct descendants of the alliance. Civilian trainers may not even be able to afford medical treatment for elves. Wild Pokémon are not pets waiting to be tamed, but territorial beasts that prey on humans. It is common for humans to be bitten to death and eaten by Pokémon. Underground organizations such as Team Rocket and the Hunter Guild are not simply "villains", but "shortcuts" for low-level civilians to obtain resources and break down class barriers.
