Great Ming: From the Start, I Took Wei Zhongxian Down and Seized His Billions in Family Wealth

Qin Feng, a modern office drone, transmigrates to the end of the Ming Dynasty and becomes the young emperor, newly enthroned but with imperial power slipping away. Wei Zhongxian holds sway over the court and controls the government. The Donglin faction forms cliques and indulges in empty talk that brings ruin to the nation. The treasury is bare, the Later Jin ravages the lands beyond the passes, and refugees overrun the territories within. The Ming Dynasty is on the verge of collapse. From the start, Qin Feng activates the Emperor’s Control System, gaining absolute power over Wei Zhongxian’s life and death and bringing the powerful eunuch to heel for his own use. No more infighting and empty talk. He’ll deal with corrupt parasites! His first imperial decree orders Wei Zhongxian to investigate the court’s corrupt magnates and the wealthy gentry who trade with the enemy and betray the country, seizing their estates and amassing tens of millions of taels of silver right from the start! Using the eunuch faction as his weapon, he purges the court’s rot, fills the treasury, trains and strengthens the army, and reforms the bureaucracy. With an iron grip on power, Qin Feng crushes the Donglin faction, quells internal unrest, and drives out foreign enemies. Step by step, he turns the tide against the nation’s imminent downfall and builds a prosperous Ming Dynasty! This novel and its characters are entirely fictional.
