As a Lord for All, I Turned the Battlefield into a City

Lords everywhere descend onto the battlefield of the myriad races. From the start, Lu Jin has just a small wooden palisade, eight residents, six sacks of wheat, and a talent called Ruin Reconstruction that everyone mocks as “rummaging through junk.”

The Hundred Cities Alliance shows up to demand protection money, asking for half his food. Lu Jin refuses. They smash his gate, so he uses the broken planks to block their charge, then leaves their battered battering ram lodged in the doorway.

Lu Jin soon realizes that if he sits by the gate waiting for people to attack, his territory will starve sooner or later. If he wants supply routes, mines, and sturdier walls, he’ll have to fight for the battlefield himself.

The Hundred Cities Alliance likes tearing down other people’s castles. Lu Jin decides to start by tearing down their outposts.
