The Evening Breeze Gathers Stars, But Not You

A school story about secret crushes, missed chances, and a confession that comes too late. The evening breeze finally overcomes all hesitation and finds the star that belongs to it.

A sheet of draft paper, bearing a secret she had kept for three years, was swept away by the autumn wind and landed in Lu Wan Feng’s hands. He didn’t return it. Instead, he folded it up and hid it in his pocket, pretending he knew nothing. From then on, one of them carefully hid her secret, while the other thought the wind had already carried it away.

It wasn’t until that day, when the page was swept up by the wind again, that Su Shi Xing chased it across the fallen leaves and finally realized: he had hidden more than that sheet of paper. He had also hidden every glance that lingered on her.
