Game Invasion: This NPC Isn't Working Today

Programmer Xiao Yi died suddenly after working 996, then transmigrated into an NPC blacksmith's apprentice in a world invaded by a game. While other transmigrators became players who leveled up by killing monsters, he became an NPC who didn't even want to go to work: clocking in at 8 a.m., getting no overtime pay, being unable to fight back when players hit him, and facing real death if he died in the game. Xiao Yi: "I can't take another day of this job!" He called in sick to slack off, complained about his boss, and refused to work overtime. When players came to turn in quests, he told them he was off work and to come back tomorrow. When a guild bullied him, he simply set their weapons' durability to zero. From the starting village to the entire game world, Xiao Yi went from being a lowly NPC who didn't want to work to uncovering the truth about the game world, and ultimately overthrowing the central brain and establishing a new order.
