Naruto: The Lunar Eclipse Arc

Sixteen years after the Fourth Shinobi World War ended, peace has come to Konoha, and Naruto has succeeded to the title of Seventh Hokage. Yet an unknown black moon hangs in the night sky. Shinobi across the world begin losing all their chakra in their sleep, and when they wake, they all mention the same name: the People of the Moon.

Legend says that before the era of the Sage of Six Paths, there was an ancient clan that worshiped the moon. They saw chakra as a curse and sought to restore the shinobi world to a pure state without chakra. The clan's leader, Gesshoku, was sealed alongside Kaguya back then. Now, his remnant soul has returned to the world of the living through the black moon.
