1908, Berlin. The sixth prince, Joachim Franz Hubertus, is eighteen years old this year. In everyone's eyes, he was the most inconspicuous prince - silent, well-behaved, and had never been in the limelight at palace dances. Even his father, William II, rarely looked at him. But no one knew that this eighteen-year-old boy had another history in his mind. It was a history in which Germany was defeated, the emperor went into exile, the motherland was dismembered by the Treaty of Versailles, and veterans starved in the streets. It was a period of history in which an Austrian corporal named Hitler filled the vacuum with hatred and burned Europe to rubble. He didn't want that history to happen.
