Mirroring the Heavens: Starting with a Sign-In in Honkai: Star Rail

Jiang Ling transmigrated to an age of declining spiritual energy, a degenerate cultivation world where the Nine Cauldrons had fallen apart. He became a poor rogue cultivator whom nobody respected. When he awakened, all he found in his palm was a battered mirror on the verge of breaking: the Mirror Appraisal System.

The mirror could illuminate the heavens and draw one ruined anime world after another into accessible mirror realms. Complete a mission, and he could sign in and bring back cultivation arts, divine weapons, and even companions to the main world.

From signing in to gain Stellaron powers in Honkai: Star Rail, to seizing elemental authority in Teyvat, roaming the martial world to collect peerless techniques, and venturing into the continent of divine beasts to make pacts with ancient creatures, he journeyed through the Myriad Worlds and dominated every realm, signing in as he went. One by one, he restored the Nine Cauldrons that had held the nation's fortune for a hundred years after they were stolen.

While others struggled through a century of cultivation, a single mirror realm gave him the equivalent of a thousand years of their hard work. The orthodox sects saw him as an aberration, and the clans tried to seize his broken mirror, only to be crushed to ashes by the power he brought back from the Myriad Worlds.

Only after the Nine Cauldrons were reunited and spiritual energy returned to heaven and earth did Jiang Ling understand that the broken mirror had never reflected the Myriad Worlds. It had always shown him: the guardian of the cauldrons who had risen from a poor rogue cultivator to shoulder the great task of repairing the heavens.

An ancient mirror illuminates a thousand realms; the Nine Cauldrons return to their places and secure the land.
