They Reported Me for Making Fake Medicine, So I Sold the Patent for a Hundred Billion

Jiang Chen transmigrates to a parallel world and awakens the National Medicine Research and Development System. As a medical student, he successfully develops a miracle drug for late-stage lung cancer. With good intentions, he treats many critically ill patients at low cost, but this attracts the attention of pharmaceutical giant Hengrui Pharmaceuticals. After he refuses to sell his patent, the company pays the patients he saved to join forces and report him for manufacturing and selling fake medicine. A wave of online abuse engulfs him. His girlfriend breaks up with him, his enrollment is revoked, and he faces criminal charges. In court, everyone expects him to prove his innocence, but he pleads guilty and sells the entire patent portfolio to his rival for hundreds of billions. Once the new drug is approved, its price skyrockets, and the illnesses of those who reported him recur, leaving them unable to afford the medication. No longer naive, Jiang Chen now commands hundreds of billions in capital. He builds a world-class research laboratory and makes his moves step by step, stirring up the entire domestic pharmaceutical industry.
