Journey to the West: A Shop Across All Worlds, Where Even Golden Immortals Can't Freeload

A shop appeared on the streets of the Women's Kingdom, and famous faces from across the Three Realms kept showing up inside. The Empress of Western Liang lost herself in romantic novels. A Taiyi Golden Immortal-level bear sat in a corner, staying up with red eyes over Xiao Yan's coming-of-age ceremony. Even Zhu Bajie, on his way to fetch the scriptures, returned and slipped inside, setting his sights on the book Shrouding the Heavens.

The shop's shelves held cola said to dramatically boost one's comprehension, along with strange books emblazoned with images of Heavenly Flames and pill recipes. They say that if you study them thoroughly, you can even bring the techniques and treasures from the books directly into the real world. Yet the shopkeeper is a mortal who couldn't hurt a fly. He has to ask customers to buy him buns whenever he wants to go out, because crowds of women from the Women's Kingdom who want to bear his children are always waiting outside.

When spies from the Buddhist school, disciples of the Daoist school, and the holy monk on his pilgrimage all step through the door, the real trouble will only just be beginning. A Golden Immortal treasure buys just three hours of reading time, but even so, the great figures of the Three Realms are fighting to get in. As for who will actually learn anything from the books, even the shopkeeper himself has no idea.
