Hong Kong Films: I Went Undercover in Hung Hing and Became the Boss

Lin Yao transmigrates into a Hong Kong crime drama world and, from the start, awakens a Jianghu Reputation Lottery System. Unfortunately, the police force throws him away like a pawn and sends him undercover in Hung Hing.

After six months undercover, he has only passed along three useless bits of information and outlasted three handlers, earning himself the nickname "Boss Bane."

His fourth handler, Zhang Zhengfeng, refuses to believe it. On their very first street rendezvous, he nearly gets Lin Yao sent to the hospital.

"Officer, I don't have many good qualities, but I'm tough as nails. If you're going to run with me, you'd better be tough too."

From hacking people up and planting flags to seizing turf, Lin Yao rises from a low-level thug in Kwun Tong to a gang boss.

His butterfly knife skills are flawless, and he can knock out any young tough with a single punch. The name Blade Yiu rings throughout Yau Tsim Mong.

Wo Shing Wo wants to cross the line and snatch some territory? Sorry, the casino and the turf are a package deal. You won't get even half a street!

East Star dares to put a bounty on him? Then don't blame him for turning their own weapons against them and burning their venues to a crisp!

Zhang Zhengfeng: "I told you to investigate a drug den, and you went and took over their whole territory?!"

Lin Yao: "It was no trouble. By the way, Officer, I also seized Ni Kun's shipment while I was at it."
