Under the Shrine

At the end of the Ming Dynasty, Wei Zhongxian fell. A white-haired old man who claimed to have done something for him lived anonymously with his adopted son, chopping firewood for a living. Until the adopted son was entangled by something from an abandoned temple, blue lines appeared on his arms, and he would die within seven days if not treated. The old man opened the yellow silk list that had been dusty for twelve years and said: I built the ancestral hall, and I will demolish it. The father and son embarked on a desperate journey across the twenty-five cities of the Ming Dynasty - demolishing ancestral halls and killing parasites. Each time he demolished one, he grew older. There are Jin Yiwei chasing behind, there are Avengers waiting in the dark, and there are twenty-three cannibalistic shrines ahead. But what is more terrifying than the pursuers is the question that has never been asked in the adopted son's heart: What did you do for Wei Zhongxian back then? This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
