Siheyuan: My Two Mu of Space Doubles Every Month, Becoming a Granary

Wu Ben, a man from the twenty-first century, dies unexpectedly. When he opens his eyes again, he is in a courtyard house in 1965, as a young lathe worker whose parents have both died and who has only recently secured a permanent position.

He has no intention of letting the Jia family bleed him dry, and no interest in spending every day arguing with the other busybodies in the courtyard. He just wants to make a decent life for himself.

Unexpectedly, a portable farming space appears. Anything planted in its two acres of spiritual fields ripens in a single day, and the land doubles in size every month. Its spirit spring can even strengthen the body and prolong life.

With food and livestock from the space, along with his own ingenuity, Wu Ben advances from the procurement department to acting deputy factory director, then is transferred to take charge of a textile mill.

While others are still scheming over a few pounds of grain coupons, he is already using the space's finest ingredients to negotiate restaurant deals and open the Peace Hotel, succeeding simultaneously as a farmer, factory director, and businessman.
