Hong Kong Films: Starting with a Men's Magazine, I Conquer Hong Kong

Su Chen is reborn in 1980s Hong Kong, starting out as a low-level foot soldier in a declining triad.

The bosses take him for a sucker, and the old guard tries to use him as cannon fodder.

But before Lord Guan, he prays for a golden finger: the ability to seek good fortune and avoid disaster!

While others start fights and show off their muscle, he publishes the raunchy magazine 91 Men;

while others draw lots to decide who lives and dies, he makes hundreds of thousands with a single issue.

The Dong'an Society is jealous and smashes his print shop?

Su Chen turns around and asks Lord Guan for the blessing of loyalty, then that very night, he cuts down Dong'an Society's Hot Ginger!

The triad's elder is furious, but Su Chen just smokes a cigarette and slaps the accounts book down in front of the boss:

"Old man, those are the rules of the underworld: whoever brings the most money into the society calls the shots!"

"I'm taking this dragon-head staff, and nobody can stop me, not even Jesus!"

From a street punk in a housing estate to a magazine mogul, and then to a boss who rules both the underworld and the legitimate world.

Su Chen: "All I wanted was to make money, but people kept forcing me to pick up a knife. Fine, I'll make the rules for this society myself!"
