Hong Kong Films: My Father Is Lei Luo, Pleased to Meet You

At the mention of this name, everyone in Hong Kong's underworld and law enforcement knows and respects him: the Five-Hundred-Million-Dollar Inspector, Lei Luo. He commands thirty thousand police officers across Hong Kong and wields power throughout its two core regions, Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. He single-handedly builds a corrupt system of collusion between police and triads, amassing immense power and a fortune worth billions. From a low-ranking, ostracized patrolman in Kowloon Walled City to Chief Chinese Detective, Lei Luo takes less than ten years. Outsiders say he was lucky and married into the Bai family, but they don't know that this formidable man walked a knife's edge at every turn, dealing with both the open and hidden attacks within the police force and the covetous stares of the ten biggest triads. "I either don't take bribes, or I take a full hundred million." This is Lei Luo's motto, and the greatest lesson he leaves to those who come after him. Now, Young Master Lei is entering the underworld. Seniors, bosses, my father is Lei Luo. I look forward to your guidance.
